RoboAdvisor comparison update - December 2020

 

There are many Robo-advisors out there and you may not know which to choose. As such I would want to help you by providing monthly updates of my portfolios here. Before you proceed, I would like to say that I do not dollar cost average to all Robo advisors monthly, as such, the returns may be different from others.

My Portfolio Details:

StashAway

Portfolio: StashAway Core Portfolio with Risk Index of 22% and 36%

Investment frequency: DCA $500 monthly

Syfe

Portfolio: 100% REIT+ (Dividend Reinvested)

Investment frequency: Nil

Date started: May 2020

DigiPortfolio

Portfolio: Global and Asia Portfolio

Investment frequency: Nil

Data started: Nov 2019



Here is the December update on all my Roboadvisors performance.

StashAway (22% risk)

Current: $6347.35

Net deposits: $5650

Total returns: $697.35 (12.3%)

StashAway (36% risk)

Current: $500.18

Net deposits: $500

Total returns: $0.18 (0%)

*For this month, I have decided to channel the monthly $500 into a new StashAway portfolio with 36% risk index. Let's see how it goes over the long term.

As of  31 Dec 2020, there is a gain of $133.71 (2.39%) for the month.

The total fee for this month is $0.00 due to referral. (Else it will be ~$3.97)

For the year 2020, I paid a total of $15.64 (SGD). This is around 8.7% of my total return.
